On September 25 we had our Annual Charity Night with all proceeds going to the Australian Lions Hearing Dogs. What a tremendous night and thank you to all who attended, and donated to such a wonderful cause especially when you look at some the statistics, 1 in 6 Australians suffer hearing loss, 90% of dogs are sourced from shelters. So the benefits are not only human but the dogs get a loving home as well. We raised $310 and Anne, Les, Eddie & Rosalie attended the open day on October 9 to present the donation. Our donation was gratefully accepted by the Chairman and the CEO of lions hearing dogs (please see picture below).
