Hi welcome to our club news and we trust everybody is enjoying their dancing.
Well we may have missed out last year on our birthday due to COVID 19 but wow we certainly made up for it this year. Thank you to all who attended with about dozen couples for Round Dancing, three sets for plus and seven sets dancing (+ a couple more sitting out) for mainstream . We had a new caterer and despite some issues with ordering and getting the meals out to the tables everyone would agree there was plenty to eat. Thank you to Jeff, Scotty, Graham, Ian & Ros for calling, Anne for cueing and keeping us entertained. Thank you to Ingrid for the wonderful decorations, we are sure you all agree she has a wonderful talent for decorating and to Rose, Murray, Karen, Harvey, Margaret D for helping set up and Helen (Anne’s sister) for sitting at the door.
Our special night for May was of course Mothers Day Dance. We had complimentary chocolates and Bailey’s Irish Cream thanks to Les for organising this.
We have several dancers learning Plus Tuesday nights following Mainstream. Progress has been very good with several movements completed.
