Article for Round Up September 2017

Wow what a month of mixed emotions and attendances. Apart from the cold weather keeping dancers away we have had some absences through unfortunate events and some due to holidays. Diana Lawson was involved in a car accident following the July 8 dance, however has since recovered and is back dancing again. Harvey Wood suffered a stroke whilst on holiday in Europe (see what a holiday does for you), but seriously we wish him a speedy recovery. Phyl decided to travel north to the outback for 4 weeks and Terri travelled even further north for a cruise around Scandinavia. Both are back safe and well

Our special night for July was our ‘Taste of Italy Night’. Thanks to all those who dressed the theme of red, white & green. Thank you to Eddie and Rosalie for organising the minestrone soup and pizza, although Eddie was not well enough to attend on the night.

Anne, Les, Eddie, Rosalie, Milton & Debbie travelled to Naracoorte to help Acey Squares celebrate their 11th Birthday. Weather was cold however dancing and pancakes great. Thank you to Alan and Chris for your hospitality.

We are also starting a plus class on Thursday’s starting 14 September (see advertisement for details). Hope to see you there.

Happy Dancing from Anne & Les
